MARSHALL, Minn. – The Bullets swept Marshall in a youth baseball doubleheader Thursday, winning 11-1 in five innings and 10-4.
Brookings (9-9) plays a twinbill at Brandon Valley on Monday at 5 p.m.

Sam Hardin tossed a two-hitter and the Bullets scored all their runs in the second inning after falling behind early.
Hardin struck out three and walked three.
Isac Norgaard went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.
Joey McMacken doubled, singled and drove in three runs. Hardin (double) and Payton Theodosopoulos both went 2-for-3 with an RBI. All three players scored twice.
Lincoln Hardin contributed a two-run double. Jett Leddy added a single and an RBI. Keiji Numata (two walks), Josh Devine, Braden Clifford and Ethan Molengraaf chipped in with a hit apiece.
Marshall’s lone run was unearned.

The Bullets used another big inning – this time a six-run fourth – to take control.
Sam Hardin finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs – three of which came on a double in the fourth.
Lincoln Hardin singled and drove in a pair of runs. Leddy (RBI), Theodosopoulos (double) and Norgaard each contributed a pair of hits.
Clifford, McMacken and Numata each had a hit and an RBI. Devine and Molengraaf tallied the team’s other hits.
Molengraaf pitched 6 2/3 innings to earn the win, allowing four runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and two walks. Devine gave up one hit before recording the final out.
