BROOKINGS – Owning your own business can be challenging even in the best conditions, not to mention during a global pandemic. Techniques for self-care should be included as part of every entrepreneur’s business resources.

An upcoming free webinar hosted by Brookings Economic Development Corporation will provide the tools you need to successfully navigate through the challenging periods of your entrepreneurial journey.

Clinical psychologist, Dr. Sherry Walling based in Minneapolis, will present a virtual webinar, “Thriving in Difficult Times: Strategies for Mental Wellness as an Entrepreneur” from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9.

The webinar is intended to support a wide audience of entrepreneurs and business owners across all industries, with the goal of providing meaningful strategies that can be easily implemented to produce meaningful results.

“We are very excited to host Dr. Walling for this workshop specifically designed for entrepreneurs,” said Jennifer Quail, BEDC’s director of entrepreneur support. “This year has been hugely stressful on our small business and entrepreneurial community; we are confident this workshop will provide them with useful resources and valuable tools to best deal with the mental challenges they are facing.”
