Crowds flock to 22nd annual Festival of Lights

BROOKINGS – Unseasonably warm weather made for a well-attended Festival of Lights celebration in downtown Brookings Thursday evening. The main attraction was the Parade of Lights, with brightly decorated floats traveling down Main Avenue.

Above, Ramsdell’s played up the Camp Candy Cane theme by pulling a portable campsite behind its truck, lit with with propane burners.

Below, a State Farm entry included elves and reindeer.
