ELKTON – A car caught fire in Elkton on Friday, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire was reported at 4 p.m. Friday and occurred at Cornell Avenue and North Drive in Elkton, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office and Elkton Fire Department responded to a 1994 Nissan Maxima car that was on fire. The Elkton Fire Department extinguished the fire,” Sebring said.
“The fire was believed to be electrical in nature. The vehicle was a complete loss. No injuries were reported,” Sebring said.
