BROOKINGS – The Bobcats fell 8-1 to Mitchell and 7-2 to Aberdeen Roncalli in a pair of matches at Saturday’s Jim Holwerda Jamboree at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts.
Brookings (0-6) plays host to Huron and Madison in a triangular on Thursday. Play begins at 3:30 p.m.

Skylor Ness picked up the Bobcats’ lone win, beating Kiersten Bathke, 10-7, at No. 6 singles.
Sammy Pooley and Avery Larson teamed to beat Jane Ardry and Abby Enevoldsen 10-5 at No. 1 doubles.

Brookings’ Abby Enevoldsen defeated Marah Brandner, 10-3, at No. 2 singles while Skylor Ness added a victory at No. 6, besting Hallie Haskell, 10-7.
Jane Ardry and Enevoldsen fell 10-4 to Ellie Liken and Abby Hanson at No. 1 doubles, while Ness and Marina Du also dropped their No. 3 doubles match by a 10-4 score to Ali Miller and Haskell.
