Church service to be held at arts festival

BROOKINGS – The 48th annual Brookings Summer Arts Festival will host an 8:30 a.m. church service at the Pioneer Park Bandshell on Sunday, July 14.

The service will be led by the Rev. Steve Palo from First Lutheran Church.

His message is titled “The Kingdom of Neighbors.” The Ropp Family Musicians will lead the music, featuring hymns and brass accompaniment. A free will offering will be taken, benefiting the Brookings Ministerial Association’s Voucher Program.

A note concerning parking – the park road is closed for parking, so plan accordingly. The church service is open to the community, and lawn chairs are encouraged.
