Cody Anthony Good Bird, 26, of Elkton died Monday, August 21, 2017.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Elkton. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Elkton, until the service on Friday. Rude’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Cody Anthony Good Bird was born Dec. 23, 1990 to Tony Lee Jr and Juanita Good Bird in Sioux Falls at Sioux Valley Hospital. He was raised and resided in Sioux Falls most of his life. Cody worked at Twin City Fan as a parts puller.
He will always be remembered for his loving and kind spirit to all who met him. Cody’s sense of humor could brighten your darkest days and have you laughing and smiling in no time. Cody loved being with family and friends, he loved kayaking, fishing, bonfires, cook outs and working out. Cody loved being an uncle, his time spent with his nephews was spent fishing and mowing the lawn and teaching his nephews to build a bonfire.
Cody has touched the lives of many, he is irreplaceable to his family, friends and all who knew him. He will never be forgotten.
Cody is survived by his mother, Juanita Good Bird, his brothers, Shawn Lee and Christian Hofer Good Bird; and sisters, Antoinette Good Bird and Gracie Lee.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Lee Jr.
