

College men's golf: Jackrabbits come in seventh at K-State Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. — The South Dakota State men’s golf team finished in seventh place out of 15 teams at the Wildcat Fall Invitational on Monday.
The Jacks were led by Jonah Dohrer’s 25th-place finish. Dohrer finished 3-over on the tournament after carding a 74 (+2) on his final lap.
Tyler Seeling and Luke Honner tied for 35th place. The duo posted matching 221 (+5) final scorecards. Ty Kretz was two shots back with a 223 (+7) and was tied for 42nd place. Bryson Mercier finished with a 224 (+8) in a tie for 50th place.
SDSU’s 878 (+14) final team score was six shots behind Creighton and four ahead of Drake. Host K-State finished 17-under (847) to win its home tournament while Nicky Kling of Grand Canyon won medalist honors with a 203 (-13).
