BROOKINGS — The public is invited to take part in the Brookings City Council’s Community Office Hours session on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Choco Latte, 2308 Sixth St.

Councilor Joey Collins will be there along with incoming Councilor Andrew Rasmussen, who will be sworn in for his first three-year term on the City Council in May. There is no agenda for this come-and-go event.

“The office hours aim to increase engagement with community members by allowing an opportunity for residents to ask questions, voice concerns and better know their local elected officials,” according to a news release from the city. “Council office hours allow for relaxed interaction to build stronger relationships with the community.”
