Diane Johnson, 69, Flandreau, died Sunday, March 22, at the Sioux Falls VAMC.
Diane was born Sept. 2, 1950, to Oscar and Alice (Krein) Johnson. She graduated from Astoria High School in 1968 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 16, 1969, until discharged May 16, 1972. She worked as a custodian at SDSU for many years and moved to Flandreau in 2000.
Diane is survived by two brothers, Richard Johnson, Astoria, and Michael (Traci) Johnson, Brookings; nephew, Jeff, Flandreau and niece, Barbara (Dave) Buckbinder, Silverado, California.
Funeral services were March 28, at Skroch Funeral Chapel with burial in Bethany Cemetery, Astoria.
