Dog missing from rural Arlington

ARLINGTON – A dog is missing and the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on its whereabouts.

The dog was reported missing at 1:43 p.m. Sunday from 45662 208th St. in rural Arlington, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.

The male Shih Tzu is 2 1/2 years old, gold in color, and about 11 to 12 pounds, Sebring said. 

“The dog is valued at $1,500,” he said

The dog disappeared sometime around 9 a.m. Sunday and was last seen running toward the road from the residence.
