BROOKINGS – A door was broken for thieves to gain access in a burglary, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported at 1:25 p.m. Monday and occurred near 205th Street and 465th Avenue at an unattached garage, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said. It occurred sometime between Friday and Monday, he added.
“During the investigation, it was found entry was gained into a building after breaking through an exterior door. Once inside, miscellaneous items were stolen. The cost to repair the damage to the door is estimated at $600,” Sebring said.
