Doris Elaine Sheppard, 92, died Friday, June 15, 2018, at United Living Community in Brookings.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at GracePoint Wesleyan Church in Brookings. Burial is in Brookings Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Minnehaha Funeral Home in Dell Rapids.
She is survived by her three children, Sandra (Eddie) Carpenter of Jacksonville, Illinois, David (Cynthia) Sheppard of Egan and Sonja VanHolland of Volga; nine grandchildren, Devon Carpenter, Tyler Carpenter, Camber Carpenter, Brendan Sheppard, Charissa Covey, Justin Sheppard, Dillon, Mason and Gavin VanHolland and 12 great-grandchildren, Claire, Luke, Morgan, Rhegan, Quin, Charles, Marlowe, Campbell, Brody, Bailee, Boone and Menai.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Gordon Magness.
