Elaine C. Asbjornson , 86, of Lincoln, Neb., died Sunday April 30, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Neb. Private family burial to be held at Wyuka Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday Family will receive guests from 5 to 7 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lena Steen ; husband, Dr. Donald and daughter Karen; brothers, Erwin,Leon, Stafford, Ivan and Ray Steen; sisters June Steen and Joan Isham.
She is survived by brothers, Reuben and John Steen and sister Betty Wegner; children and spouses, Kevin Asbjornson of Singapore; Dr. Jon Asbjornson of Lincoln; Beth Asbjornson-McCashland and Dr. Timothy McCashland of Omaha; David Asbjornson of Lincoln ; Janie Asbjornson and Britt Harms of Phoenix and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and Lincoln Food Bank Backpack program.
