ELKTON – Elkton-Lake Benton swept Alcester-Hudson in a basketball doubleheader Saturday, winning the boys’ game 59-38 and the girls’ contest by a 45-28 margin.
BOYS
• Elkton-Lake Benton 59, Alcester-Hudson 38
Matthew Nibbe scored 19 points, Mason Gaumer and Marcus Harming 10 and Aiden Erickson nine.
Nibbe grabbed six rebounds, while Harming dished out five assists and came up with four steals.
GIRLS
• Elkton-Lake Benton 45, Alcester-Hudson 28
Julia Drietz scored 12 points, Rachael Krog 10 and Kailyn Drietz eight.
ELB led 11-8 after a quarter, 22-15 at halftime and 32-23 through three.

REDFIELD – The Falcons pulled away after the first quarter, turning a one-point lead into a 30-22 advantage. It was 47-26 heading to the fourth.
Trinity Watson led four Falcons in double figures with 16 points.
The Dolphins got 10 markers from Baylee Holmlund.

LAKE PRESTON – The Dolphins were up 17-7 after a quarter, 33-21 at halftime and 45-44 through three.
Cooper Holmlund (15) and Sutton Fritz (12) combined for 27 points.
The Divers got 16 points from Carter Malone.
