BROOKINGS – Electronics were stolen in a residential burglary, according to Brookings Police.
The theft was reported at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and occurred at a residence in the 600 block of First Avenue, Assistant Chief Derrick Powers said.
It occurred sometime in the last week and a half “while the resident was away from the home,” he added.
“Someone entered the residence” using forced entry, Powers said.
“They caused some damage inside the residence and took a T.V. and two digital cameras. Those are amongst the items that were taken, I should say,” Powers said.
There was no estimate for the items stolen.
