BROOKINGS – Joanna Engels, a music education major at South Dakota State University, will present her senior recital at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 in Founders Recital Hall of the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the SDSU campus.
Engels, a flutist from Ward, will be performing five selections during her recital by artists such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johan Sebastian Bach. Engels will also be assisted by Xuan Kuang, instructor of group piano and artistic collaboration at SDSU, on the piano, Kasidy Tvedt on the flute and Margaret Wilson on the alto flute.
