WHITE – White hosted its annual Pioneer Days this past weekend. Four days of fun included the feature event, the 17th annual chili cook-off in Arthur Graslie City Park on Saturday afternoon. Last year’s winners, Tracia Hogue and Shianne Hogue, shown above, returned this year to compete again. This year’s winners were Robert Kor, Troy Murphy and Christian Vizecky.
Other events included a volleyball tournament, car show, sand dig, pigeon auction, a valve cover car derby, school reunion, live music and more.
The Murphy family reunion joined the parade Saturday morning on Main Street. Their trailer held the most people on a single entry, with three levels of relatives waving to the crowds.
