BROOKINGS – It’s time to get spooky. The Brookings Public Library will hold a haunted library-themed escape room from Monday, Oct. 21, to Thursday, Oct. 24, with slots starting at 6:15 p.m. each night.
An escape room is a popular team-building, mystery-solving, live experience where groups search for clues and solve puzzles to accomplish a mission before time runs out.
In this escape room, teams are trapped in a spine-chilling abandoned library and must find the clues to get out alive. Teams have 20 minutes before the terrifying Book of Shadows sends teams to their grave.
This program is free to the public. Participants must be 14 and older. Registration is required due to limited space. Groups of six or fewer can sign up by visiting the circulation desk or contacting the library at 692-9407.
