Esther Norberg, 98, of Arlington died peacefully Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Arlington Care and Rehabilitation Center in Arlington.
A celebration of Esther's life will be held at the Arlington United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour before services in the church on Wednesday. Burial is in the Arlington City Cemetery.
Esther was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Magnolia, Minn., where she lived with her parents and four siblings. She married Leo R. Norberg, April 28, 1937, with whom she raised three children during their 64-plus years of marriage prior to Leo's death in 2002.
She is survived by her sister, Edna Brown of Arlington; children, Nancy Brown of Rantoul, Ill.., Kenneth (Carolyn) Norberg of Watertown and Connie (Preston) Hollister of Rochester, Minn.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.
