Evangelists to speak at First Assembly of God

Posted

Roy and Arlene Brewer will speak Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m., at Brookings First Assembly of God Church, 416 17th Ave. S.

The Brewers both graduated from Northwest University (Assemblies of God).  For the next eight years they traveled the USA as evangelists.

Almost nine more years were spent as the youth and education directors for the state of Montana.

During this time Roy also served on the National Youth Committee, was regional director and took teams overseas.

In 1979 the Brewers became pastors of a large church in the Metro Denver area where they pastored for six years.

By this time their children were in college and in 1985 they again went full-time in evangelism. For the past 30-plus years they have also traveled overseas for two to three months each year with our foreign missions department planting churches amongst unreached people groups.

They have planted churches in South America, Africa, the Philippines, Cambodia and Mexico.  During these church planting years they have been privileged to plant and help influence the planting of 60 new churches overseas, while here in the states they have preached camps, conferences, seminars and Spiritual Life Crusades across the country

The community is invited to come and hear the heart of Roy and Arlene.
