Brent Yantis from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Regional Application Center will bring the Earth as Art exhibit to the Brookings Public Library from June 15-July 22 and will give a talk on the out-of-this-world exhibit at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18. The Earth as Art gallery exhibit features remarkable images of the surface of the Earth that have been captured by remote sensing devices aboard Landsat and other satellites.

Brookings Area Community Band’s next concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at the Pioneer Park Bandshell. “The Big Top Comes to Brookings” – Children’s night at the community band captures the wonder and magic of a traveling circus.
