Fliers finish in fourth at Madison Quad

MADISON – West Central’s Peyton Bettcher carded an 81 to take home first-place honors at the Madison Quad held at the Madison Country Club on Tuesday.

The Trojans claimed the top four individual rounds in the event with Anthony Lantham (85), Connor Eisenbeisz (85), and Trey Even (88) rounding out places two through four.

Lennox’s Dalton Plucker also shot an 88 to tie for fourth place.

Flandreau had four golfers participate in the quad.

Alfie Hendersen tied for sixth after firing an 89.

Kaden Bursheim tallied a 98, while Cade and Brant LeBrun shot 118 and 121, respectively.

As a team the Fliers finished in fourth with a team score of 426.

West Central claimed the top spot in the team score with a 339, followed by Lennox at 381, and Madison at 388.

Flandreau next participates in the Watertown Invitational on Sept. 21.
