ABERDEEN – Rachel Gannon placed eighth in the all-around and Sierra Stevens was 12th at the Class AA State Gymnastics Meet on Saturday.
Gannon posted a score of 35.775. Stevens had a 34.95.
Tayla Dobrenski was 20th at 33.95.
Harrisburg’s Kenzee Danielson rallied to win with a 38.575 total.
Watertown’s Myah Morris (38.2) and Brooke Bollinger (37.1) were second and third, respectively.
Danielson won the beam (9.65), Morris the vault (9.95), Bollinger the bars (9.4) and O’Gorman’s Payton Steffensen the floor (9.725).
Gannon placed fifth on the floor with a 9.425 and was ninth on the beam at 9.0. She tied for 11th on the vault (9.15) and ended up 20th on the bars (8.225).
The sophomore placed seventh in the all-around the past two seasons.
She won the floor exercise in 2018 and placed third in 2019. She was eighth on the beam in 2018 and 10th in 2019. She tied for ninth on the bars as a seventh-grader.
Sierra Stevens paced the Bobcats on the vault with a 9.175, putting her in 10th. She tied for 10th on the beam (8.95) and tied for 14th on the floor (8.95).
Lily Siemonsma was 19th on the bars (8.425).
