Gerald M. Ward, Jr. was born on May 28, 1962, in Yokosuka, Japan.
Gerald was in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1991. Gerald loved fishing and the outdoors, enjoyed baking and was a skilled craftsman.
Gerald is survived by his four children, Crystal, Kelly, Shannon, and Devin; two grandsons; brother, William B. Ward of Brookings, SD; and two sisters DeAnna (James) Johnson of Glendale, AZ, and Kimberley (Shawn) Long of Staunton, VA; three nephews, two nieces, a great nephew, and four great nieces.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald M. Ward, Sr. and SherryAnne Langland.
