Golf carts stolen


LAKE CAMPBELL – Two golf carts were reported stolen from the Brookings Country Club, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft was reported at 7 p.m. Aug. 2 and occurred at the country club at Lake Campbell, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.

“The stolen golf carts are 2015 Club Cars, which are blue and black in color and are valued at $5,000 each,” Sebring said.

The golf carts were parked outside the country club, and the theft occurred between 9 p.m. July 31 to 7 a.m. Aug. 1, Sebring added.
