GOP elects Brookings County leaders

BROOKINGS – The Brookings County Republican Central Committee met Jan. 21 to choose the organization’s leadership for the next two years.

Heading the local group will be Jim Gilkerson, who continues as county chairman.

Other officers include Kassidy Noem, county vice-chair, and Mary Kidwiler, secretary-treasurer.

Sheldon Cotton will again serve as state committeeman and Lillian Hellickson as state committeewoman.

All officers elected will serve two-year terms.

The Republicans also announced that plans are being made for the 2017 Lincoln Day Dinner, to be held Friday, April 21, in the Daktronics room at the Swiftel Center.
