SIOUX FALLS – Grace Glanzer and Kelsey Lenox were announced as the Summit League’s Pitcher and co-Player of the Week Monday, capping a four-win weekend for the Jackrabbits.

Glanzer went 4-0 in the circle with three complete-game performances, striking out 20 opponents over 23 innings. The Sioux Falls freshman posted a 1.22 ERA for the weekend and held opponents to a .207 average, earning victories against Montana (twice), Boston and Marist. She struck out seven in Friday’s game with the Grizzlies, then turned in six- and five-strikeout performances Saturday against the Terriers and Red Foxes. Glanzer tossed three hitless innings of relief in Sunday’s win over Montana and struck out two.

Lenox terrorized pitching staffs all weekend, leading the Jackrabbits with a .583/.706/1.417 slash line. The Chesterfield, Missouri native was 7-of-12 at the plate with a double and three home runs, driving in a team-best eight while drawing five walks. Lenox had two multi-hit and multi-RBI games, including a four-RBI performance against Marist. She also hit a go-ahead two-run home run in Sunday’s win against the Grizzlies and shared this week’s award with South Dakota’s Lauren Eamiguel.

Both honors are the first of their kind for the Jackrabbit student-athletes. SDSU is off this weekend and returns to the field March 6 to open a weeklong trip in Madeira, Florida.
