COLMAN – Colman-Egan crushed Dell Rapids St. Mary 85-61 Monday night to win the Dakota Valley Conference boys’ basketball regular-season title.
Bodee Groos scored a game-high 25 points to lead five Hawks in double figures.
Keith Crisp added 14 points, Dalton Voelker 12, Kade Groos 11 and Chase Hemmer 10.
The Cardinals got 20 points from Connor Libis. Luke Brown added 11 markers and Weston Geraets chipped in with 10.
Both teams close the regular season Friday as Colman-Egan (14-5) plays host to Canistota and DRSM (10-9) travels to Baltic.
Note: The Hawks also won the Dakota Valley Conference Tournament this year. ... Colman-Egan finished first in the DVC standings last season, as well.

ELKTON – The Divers grabbed the lead at halftime and held on to beat the Elks in a DVC game to snap a seven-game losing streak.
The score was tied at 15-all after a period. Lake Preston was ahead 32-26 at the break and up 38-33 through three.
Jack Hasche dropped in a game-high 21 points and Jasper Denison added 20. Paydon Casper chipped in with seven points.
ELB’s Grant DeRuyter had 17 points and a pair of steals. Matthew Nibbe contributed 14 markers. Taryn Krog grabbed six rebounds.
Both teams wrap up the regular season this week, with Lake Preston (4-15) heading to Iroquois on Friday and ELB (6-13) traveling to Waubay/Summit on Saturday.
