BROOKINGS — The Brookings Bobcats had a busy morning as they hosted a quadrangular against Aberdeen Roncalli, St. Thomas More and O’Gorman on Tuesday at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts.

The Bobcats defeated Aberdeen Roncalli 5-4 but fell to St. Thomas More 8-1 and O’Gorman 9-1.

The Bobcats will return to action when they host a triangular against Harrisburg and Sioux Falls Lincoln on Thursday at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts.

• Brookings 5, Aberdeen Roncalli 4

Sophie Tanner defeated Katherine Kretchman 10-3 in singles action while Anika Hooda defeated Raley Haskell 10-2. Yuki Zhu defeated Anna Mitzel 10-3 and Nancy Yang defeated Keira Rivett 10-9 with an 8-6 tiebreaker. Josie Bertrand defeated Josie Mitzel 10-1 and Elle Schulte-Coplan lost to River Haskell 10-3.

Tanner and Schulte-Coplan lost to Kretchman and River Haskell 10-9 in doubles action with a 7-2 tiebreaker. Hooda and Zhu lost to Raley Hakell and Rivett 10-7 and Yang and Bertrand lost to Anna and Josie Mitzel 10-7.

• St. Thomas More 8, Brookings 1

Josie Bertrand defeated Mylee Sebbo 10-6 as the lone singles win for Brookings. Hooda lost to Amity Strand 10-8 and Zhu lost to Madison Schmahl 10-8. Yang lost to Evie Reinicke 10-6, Tanner lost to Athena Franciliso 10-4 and Schulte-Coplan lost to Shriya Gangineni 10-0.

Yang and Bertrand lost to Reinicke and Sebbo 10-8 in doubles action, Hooda and Zhu lost to Strand and Schmahl 10-5 and Tanner and Schule Coplan lost to Fanciliso and Gangineni 10-0.

• O’Gorman 7, Brookings 1

Hooda and Zhu picked up the win for Brookings in doubles action as they defeated the duo of Kaitlyn Connelly and Faith Eggerstadt 10-3. Ranner and Schulte Coplan lost to Lucy Koziera and Ellie Huber 10-3 and the doubles match between Yang and Bertrand and Sarah Jamous and Wilnel Farhat was canceled after Bertrand suffered an injury during her singles match with Farhat.

Tanner lost to Koziera 10-4 in singles action while Hooda lost to Connelly 10-3. Zhu lost to Jamous 10-2, Yang lost to Victoria Chen 10-1 and Schulte Coplan lost to Huber 10-0.
