PIERRE — The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation Watertown Job Service will host its next “Walk-in Watertown” recruiting and hiring event on Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT at 2001 Ninth Ave. S.W., Suite 200.

Business partners for September include Crenlo, Duininck Inc., Enercept, and Freedom Enterprises.

The Walk-in Watertown event is designed to allow job seekers the opportunity to visit, apply, and possibly receive a confidential interview with one or more businesses in one location. Individuals should bring a resume and be prepared to interview for open positions in which they may be interested.

Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from face-to-face interaction with potential employees, and save time and money finding qualified employees.

Interested individuals needing help with a resume or cover letter before the event can call the Watertown Job Service at 605-882-5131 to speak with a job advisor. To view open positions before the event, visit southdakotaworks.org.

Businesses interested in participating in future events should contact the Watertown Job Service office and ask for Lana.

This event is hosted on the third Wednesday of every month and is available at no cost to businesses or job seekers. Next month’s event is Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT at the Watertown Job Service.
