BROOKINGS – A pick-up was damaged in a hit-and-run, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“A resident from the City of White reported that a vehicle struck the passenger side of his 2016 Ford F150, causing some $1,975 worth of damage,” Sebring said.
The owner said it happened between Sept. 2 and when the damage was noticed on Friday, Sebring said.
“The owner is unsure of the exact location as he didn’t notice the damage for some time, but it is believed to have happened either in Brookings, or White,” Sebring said.
