Hit-and-run reported Sunday in Volga

VOLGA – A hit-and-run was reported Sunday in Volga, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.

“It was found that a 2005 Dodge Durango was parked on the street in the 100 block of Brody Avenue in Volga,” Sebring said. “The amount of damage is estimated at $3,000 to $4,000.”

It is believed to have occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and when it was noticed at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
