Horst to hold senior saxophone recital

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University senior Andy Horst, a music entrepreneurship major from Brookings, will present a saxophone recital at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall.

He will perform a range of pieces from classical to modern by J.S. Bach, Roger Boutry, Victor Morosco and Rudy Wiedoeft. He will be assisted by students Tyler Hall, Jenna Harrison and Sam Lindberg, and pianist Xuan Kuang.

While at State, Horst has been involved with the Wind Symphony, Jazz Combo, Jazz Ensemble I, Saxophone Quartet and The Pride of the Dakotas.
