Hulce, Schwanke and Walker to display Points of You

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University seniors Tia Hulce, Miranda Schwanke and Kaitlyn Walker will display their senior visual arts exhibit Nov. 6-9 at the Ritz Gallery in Grove Hall on the SDSU campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Ritz Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The exhibit, titled Points of You, includes paintings, ceramics, sculptures, concept art, prints, animation works and computer-generated art.

An art education major, Hulce is the daughter of Chelsie Hulce of Reliance and Justin Hulce of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. She is a Lyman County High School graduate.

A studio arts major, Schwanke is the daughter of Paul and Sheila Schwanke of Watertown. She is a 2013 Watertown High School graduate. 

Majoring in both studio arts and architecture, Walker is the daughter of Craig and Dotta-Jo Walker of Madison. She is a 2010 graduate of Madison High School.

A public reception will be held from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9.

The Ritz Gallery is located south of SDSU’s University Student Union between Mathews and Brown residence halls. Parking is available in the University Student Union and HPER lots.
