Irrigator wiring theft investigated near White


WHITE – The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of wiring from a damaged irrigator in a field southwest of White.

The incident was reported at 2:25 p.m. Friday and took place in a field on 476th Avenue near 206th Street, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. It occurred between May 12 and Sept. 15, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring wrote in the release. He noted that the cost to repair the damaged irrigator is still being estimated.
