Jackrabbit tennis topped by Tulane

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The South Dakota State women’s tennis team was topped by Tulane, 4-1 Sunday afternoon at the Mizzou Tennis Complex.

The Jacks fall to 0-6, while Tulane improves to 4-3.

“Our weekend wasn’t the best for most of us,” head coach Joey J. Barnes said. “Congratulations to Sidney and Morgan for their doubles win yesterday and Morgan’s win against two sound teams. We need to still become more consistent, cut way down on our errors while we stay focused on our execution of shots. We must still work on our belief and trust of our abilities.”

The Green Wave swept doubles to win the point.

Morgan Brower won the lone point for State with a 1-6, 6-4, 11-9 victory at No. 4.
