South Dakota State placed a conference-best 218 student-athletes on the 2020-21 Summit League Academic Honor Roll, league officials announced Thursday. It marks the second year in a row SDSU has led the league in the total number of honorees.
The Jackrabbits’ 232 overall selections across 14 sports also were a league best as 14 student-athletes were honored for both cross country and track and field.
To be eligible for Academic Honor Roll recognition, student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and must have used a season of competition in the sport(s) in which he or she was nominated.
