Dominick Etherington, Algona, Iowa (Algona HS)
IHSAA Class 3 state runner-up in the shot put as a junior ... two-time state qualifier in the shot put and the discus ... comes into his senior year with personal records of 55-10.50 in the shot put and 154-02.00 in the discus ... Etherington also participated in football and was a state qualifier in the in wrestling (220 weight class).
Bryce Ludwig, Alexandria, Minn. (Alexandria Area HS)
Fourth Place finisher in the discus at the MSHSL AA State Meet in 2017 ... recorded personal records in his junior season of 172-00.00 in the discus and 55-02.50 in the shot put. Ludwig also participated in football and basketball in high school.
