BROOKINGS – The South Dakota State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee continues its commitment to the Brookings community as it raises money for Project Joy for the 11th year.
Project Joy is a charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Brookings County children and families who are in need an opportunity to receive holiday gifts through the generous donations of individuals, business and organizations.
“SAAC loves making the season a little merrier for families in the Brookings area, and we appreciate our community’s support in making sure all children can celebrate the holidays with Christmas presents,” said SAAC President, Sydney Bormann.
Last year, SAAC raised more than $2,000 for Project Joy.
SAAC will be collecting at four basketball home games throughout the month of November starting one hour prior to tip off.

Nov. 19 – Men’s Basketball vs. North Alabama, 7 p.m.
Nov. 21 – Women’s Basketball vs. Montana State, 7 p.m.
Nov. 23 – Women’s Basketball vs. Wyoming, 6 p.m.
Nov. 24 – Men’s Basketball vs. Mississippi Valley State, 2 p.m.
