Keith Hesby, 59, of rural Bruce, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020.  
A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., at the First Lutheran Church in Volga.  The service will be live streamed on the First Lutheran Church Facebook Page.  A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 12 until 7 p.m, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.
Keith was born to Stan & Marilyn (Carlson) Hesby in 1961 and remained in Brookings County where he Graduated from Sioux Valley High in 1979.
After graduation Keith worked on the family farm. In 1984 he married Paula Erdmann and together they had two boys, Bradley and Wesley. During this time, he started his employment at Twin City Fan in Brookings where he worked for 21 years. In 2005 he began working at 3M for 14 years until he retired. During his retirement Keith drove over the road for Lance Trucking of Volga. He had such passion for sight-seeing from the cab of the truck, and the unlimited amount of time he could chat on the phone to anyone and everyone who had 10 minutes to 2 hours.
Keith married his best friend and current wife SueAnn (Olson) in 1990 they together had two sons Quinton & Cody. Keith also was an amazing dad to his bonus children Kristina (Christopher Foster) and Nickolas.
Keith was baptized, confirmed, married, and worshipped at First Lutheran Church of Volga, SD. He loved spending time with family and socializing with his friends. His hobbies included hunting, auctions, collecting classic cars and tractors along with his love for movies and music.
Keith is Survived by his wife, SueAnn; their children; grandchildren: Trey, Wylie, Lincoln, Ronan, and Auni; and his mother, Marilyn Hesby.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, Stan Hesby, one sister, Kristen Hovey; one uncle, Howard Hesby; his grandparents, Edwin and Pearl (Lewison) Hesby, and Helmar and Esther (Cotton) Carlson; and his father-in law, Allen Olson.
