BROOKINGS – Above, Ayla Schwans took the wheel of a cherry picker truck, among other city-owned vehicles, Wednesday morning during the Transportation Fair.
The fair, hosted by the Brookings Public Library, lined up on Kidoodle Way and granted kids the opportunity to meet Brookings public service employees and take a seat in police cars, climb into an ambulance with EMTs, sit up high in a garbage truck, fire trucks, tractors, and more.
'As one of the library’s most highly anticipated annual events, the large crowd on Wednesday was welcome.
