Kortan paces Brookings

BROOKINGS – Sioux Falls Lincoln, led by Nash Stenberg, swept the top six individual spots during a dual with the Bobcats on Thursday afternoon at Brookings Country Club.

Stenberg carded an even-par 72. He birdied Nos. 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15; bogeyed Nos. 16, 17 and 18; and double-bogeyed No. 2.

Luke Honner (79), Jack Hilgenberg (80), Charlie Mickelson (82), Adam Knigge (84) and Bennett Geraets (85) were second through sixth, respectively.

Justin Kortan paced Brookings with an 87 – putting him in a tie for seventh.

Jesse Roberts tied for ninth with a 90. Jack Even shot 91 and Dylan Vande Kop 94.

The Bobcats compete in the Yankton Invitational on Saturday before playing host to its annual invite on Monday at 10 a.m. back at the BCC.
