BROOKINGS – Brookings Mayor Keith Corbett came to Dakota Prairie Elementary late last week to read to Susan Carlson’s kindergarten class.
Corbett talked about his job and his love for Brookings.
“Mayor” was the students’ vocabulary word of the week, so they invited him to come in.
The kids asked him questions that they came up with, and then he read a story, “The Very Silly Mayor” by Tom Tomorrow.
