Rangers alumni hockey game is Saturday
BROOKINGS – The 2018 Brookings Rangers Alumni Hockey Game is Saturday at 3 p.m. at Larson Ice Center.
All proceeds, after covering ice rental expenses, will go directly to the David M. Zerfas Memorial Scholarship benefiting senior Ranger hockey players.
The cost to play is $20 per person to be paid at sign-in. Check-in begins at 2 p.m. Spectators are welcome and encouraged. A free-will donation is requested upon entering.
Odd grad years will wear dark jerseys and even years will wear light. Helmets are required.

BFC Winter Session registration is open
Brookings Futbol Club offers soccer programming for 3-8 year olds during the winter.
The Winter Little Kicks program is for 3 and 4 year olds and does require parent participation. The Winter Skills School is for 5-8 year olds. Both programs are Saturday mornings, Feb. 2 – March 9.

Cubby’s to host Hockey Nights
The Brookings Blizzard and Brookings Ice Skating Association will collaborate with coaches and players to host an evening of hockey talk at Cubby’s Sports Bar and Grill in downtown Brookings.
Hockey night is open to all hockey fans, parents and billets. Start time will be 7 p.m. each evening.
Tuesday, Jan. 8 – Termite/Mite Night. Tuesday, Jan. 29 – Girls’ Varsity/JV/U14. Tuesday, Feb. 5 – Squirts. Tuesday, Feb. 19 – Bantams. Tuesday, March 12 – Boys’ Varsity/JV.
