Lynn R. Wade, 50, of Flandreau died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. 

A celebration of life is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Presbyterian Church in Flandreau. Burial is in First Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation is 5 - 7 p.m. Friday at Skroch Funeral Chapel with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Lynn was born on April 6, 1966, in Pierre to Jon C. and Marilyn (Wilkerson) Wade. She received her education in Aberdeen and Albuquerque, N.M., graduating from Sandia High School in 1984. She worked as a legal secretary in Albuquerque for 12 years and married Russell Harvey in 1987. Lynn moved to Flandreau in 1997 and started working at Royal River Casino where she was the cage manager. 

Lynn was a member of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. She loved her two cats, Frostbite and Stripes, was an avid Denver Broncos fan, enjoyed bowling, playing cards, dominos, and sports. Lynn was known for her great sense of humor and her infectious laugh. 

Lynn is survived by her mother, Marilyn of Flandreau; sister, Jean (Gerald) Lane of Naperville, Ill.; niece, Brittany Lane, nephew Stephen Lane, special friend Pete Seewald, and aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Memorials may be made to the Moody County Museum and Crystal Theatre.
