‘Make Yourself Epic’ on display at SD State

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University seniors Jenna Hildahl, Chris Owusu, Masen Quist and McKenna Rudebusch will hold their visual arts exhibition today through Friday at the Ritz Gallery in Grove Hall on the SDSU campus. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Ritz Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The students are majoring in graphic design.

The exhibit, titled “Make Yourself Epic,” includes logo designs, branding, package and webpage design samples, painting, prints, posters, sculpture, photography, typography, illustrations, ceramics, studio art pieces, motion graphics and advanced animation work.

Hildahl is the daughter of David and Melita Hildahl of Montevideo, Minn. She is a 2011 graduate of Montevideo Senior High School.

The son of John Owusu and Betty Owusu of Ghana, West Africa, Owusu is a 2011 graduate of Akosombo International School.

Quist is the daughter of Kelli and Peter Quist of Plymouth, Minn., and a 2013 graduate of Wayzata High School.

The daughter of Myron and Misty Rudebusch of Howard, Rudebusch is a 2013 graduate of Howard High School.

A public reception will be held March 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Ritz Gallery.

The Ritz Gallery is located south of SDSU’s University Student Union between Mathews and Brown residence halls. Parking is available in the University Student Union and Frost Arena lots.
