MITCHELL – The Rangers scored single goals in the first two periods but saw the host Marlins tally two in the third and one in overtime to rally for a 3-2 South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association win on Friday night.

Mitchell got on the board with Jenna Grosidier’s unassisted power-play with 12:09 on the clock, and then, Kelsey Amick found the back of the net with 2:27 left in the game to tie the score. Grosididier and Maggie Dailey earned the assists.

Grosdidier scored the game-winning goal with 5:55 left in OT off assists from Dailey and Amick as the Marlins improved to 8-4 with 16 points for fourth in the standings.

The Rangers – winners of five straight heading into Friday’s game – dropped to 9-5 with 18 points for third in the standings.
