BROOKINGS – The Kelly McGeough Foundation was the recipient of the profits from the August Third Sunday Breakfast sponsored by the VFW No. 2118 Auxiliary.
The promotion and help with serving the breakfast provided by the auxiliary members is all it took for the foundation to receive a check for $825.
The founders, Sandra and Bill McGeough, were at the breakfast to meet and greet many of the community members who attended.
Applications to be considered for the Third Sunday Breakfast is open to nonprofit organizations in the Brookings area. To submit your request for consideration, send a letter about your organization and the needs it fills for the community.
