Meals for kids to be available at BGCB

BROOKINGS – Thanks to the generous support of the Brookings Foundation and Brookings Area United Way COVID-19 Relief Fund, beginning Friday, June 5, the Boys & Girls Club of Brookings will make available breakfast and lunch meals to any child 18 years of age and under on Mondays and Fridays between 10 and 11 a.m.

Though membership is encouraged, children do not need to be members of the Boys & Girls Club or enrolled in the Brookings School District, and no sign-up is necessary. Children must be present to pick up the meals, available through June 29.

Meals are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Brookings High School.

Meal pick-up details

Location: Boys & Girls Club of Brookings – 1126 Southland Lane, Brookings. Use the east entrance, and drive through for service.

Time: 10-11 a.m.

Serving dates: June 5; June 8 and 12; June 15 and 19; June 22 and 26; and June 29

The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains Corporation serves Brookings, Moody County, and Yankton.
